In fact, never look directly at the googlebot... you'll just frighten it away. You have a better chance of him visiting your blog if you forget about him entirely. He's an elusive, fickle beast who can't be forced, tricked or baited. Don't seek him out. ;)

If other sites link to your blog, or something along those line, the googlebot will find you. If not, try to submit your website to google, if your website/blog is new you might need to do this.
