Failing to create static pages 4.1.1

I have tried to create a static page and it brings up a white page and this error message

Warning: require(/home/bestvalu/public_html/blog/amazing) [function.require]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/bestvalu/public_html/blog/inc/collections/collections.ctrl.php on line 217

Fatal error: require() [function.require]: Failed opening required '/home/bestvalu/public_html/blog/amazing' (include_path='.:/usr/lib/php:/usr/local/lib/php') in /home/bestvalu/public_html/blog/inc/collections/collections.ctrl.php on line 217

It happened after I had the maintenance error after backing up and I restored from an earlier backup.

I also only have 2 links in my sitemap, could this be linked to this problem.

Any help appreciated

Static pages are deprecated. Why do you need them anyway? You can enable caching for each blog to speed up page load.

I have no idea why i need them I just use them because they are there.

If I see an error message I like to get it fixed, I do not know enough about html, php to know if it opens up a back door for hackers to get in so i like to make sure everything is as it should be.
