Better (actually functional) custom fields ?

WP users will know how important custom fields for posts are and how they can be manipulated in many ways to add functionality.

last i checked custom fields were not as configurable in b2, are there any plans to make it better ? On the fly custom field creation and such ?

Do you mean custom post fields?

There was a huge work done on custom user fields in v5. I believe we can use them as post or blog fields too, just need to be adjusted a bit.
