I think it's a bug. All ping plugins should only run once.

Update on this one:

I found out that it tweets old posts when you update them.For example i had a post 2 years ago (there was not a twitter plugin back than).

So if the post was never tweeted, it tweets it once it's updated.

This may be a "feature" for some, but some might not want their 2 year (2 month) old posts to be re-posted.

Maybe add an option not to tweet older posts ?

Then what posts would you consider "old". I believe an option should say "Tweet newly created posts only"

Yep, sth like that.Describe "newly" : D

Or, like i said, there may be a checkbox "Don't tweet this post" to opt out like text renderers have.

Ideally There would be an additional option to re-tweet:

- Dont tweet this post (New post / Edit post:if the post hasnt been tweeted- yet)
- Tweet this post again (Edit post)
