My b2evolution Version: 4.1.x

Hi,
I read that [url=http://forums.b2evolution.net/viewtopic.php?t=24854&start=0&postdays=0&postorder=asc&highlight=rss+login]post[/url] explaining why I can't anymore used login and password in url for RSS.
What could be a workaround to use RSS for an intranet, login protected?

Use a plugin to authenticate you, as I suggested before. No other workaround
