What exactly is Podcasting and how does it work?
Well, the short version: Podcasting comes from the words "Ipod" and "broadcast" The idea is, you make an MP3, set it up as an enclosure in your RSS feed. People subscribe with a program like Ipodder and it downloads the MP3. Once you have the mp3 on your computer, you can listen to it via your Ipod, any other mp3 player, or like I do, windows media player when I should be working. :) There are thousands of podcasts out now. The most famouse being Adam Curry from MTV (back in the day when they played videos), and Dawn & Drew. A married couple that just talk and record it. Strangly entertaining. My podcast is with out focus or subject. But I'm just getting started. :)
