SETTINGS:
* URL blog name / Stub name: stubfilename.php
* I completed [CHMOD] as described and created [stubfilename.php] from [a_stub.php] and put it under [\blogs].
PROBLEM:
* When I click on a calendar date, I go to the following URL [http://www.website.com/blogs/stubfilename.php/2005/01/04/] and get a [HTTP 404 Error].
* The problem is repeated when I click on [Leave a comment]- I go to the URL [http://www.website.com/blogs/stubfilename.php/2005/01/14/postname#comments] and get the same error. It also happens in the following cases-
clicking on month under [Archives]
clicking on [LinkImage]
This broken link problem does not go away even when I remove the stubfilename and return to default settings. But the following links DO work-

Apparently, links ending in the format [stubfilename?disp=something] work.

* [http://forums.b2evolution.net/viewtopic.php?t=727&highlight=useextrapathinfo]- I could not find [$use_extra_path_info] under [/conf/_advanced.php], and I am note sure how to confirm if [mod_rewrite] is enabled for my Apache server. Although, there is something about [url_rewriter.tags] under [phpinfo].
Any assistance is appreciated.

I love you old man!
In your back office on your settings tab turn off "Use extra-path info". Seems your host doesn't support it, and I have no idea what it takes to get them to support it.
