what I would like to do is be able to list archives by date, as they are, but by title only and not including the post itself, is that a possibility? before anyone hits me with a UTFSF, i did and couldn't find much relevance. help a noob for me, thanks...
Not sure how you could set up archives this way - but if you are looking to display a list of posts by title and or date etc.. you could try the recent posts hack

You could easily set it up to display a much larger list if that was what you wanted.
