How-to make "Posted By"?

Are there plugins or such, to make "Posted by: Mod" - for example, after the post, I've tried to find out how to make that, but couldn't find anything what would work
......
I hope you know what I mean.. Like a signauture, but what would be after the entry

thats the author of the post, and ive not seen a single skin that doesnt include that by default.. look at ANY skin ...
