Look in conf/_config.php and you'll find a section that reads :-

* If you don't, login cookies will not hold.
*
* @global string $baseurl
*/
$baseurl = 'eaeaeaeaea'; // IMPORTANT: NO ENDING SLASH !!!

/**
* Your email. Will be used in severe error messages so that users can contact you.
* You will also receive notifications for new user registrations there.

change the red bit to http://blog.grantlairdjr.com and it should all work.

When you were installing b2evo, when it asked you for the base url, you typed that in.

Ok - I got it.

The point is how did it happen at first place?

I had this b2evo for over one year with no problem. I dont mess with config itself at all. I installed it from Fantastico.

I am just concerned that it may be bug.

Hmm, I'm not sure. I'll have a play with it tomorrow, I suspect that the fantasico install doesn't set the config file as read only after it's finished writing to it.

Since I corrected it as you guys suggested and its okay.

I found another issue when I tried to modify _main.php for sidebar to my preferance such as link change or add flickr script etc.

Anytime I modify something, it gave me error saying..

Warning: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at /home/gwlj/public_html/b2evolution/conf/_config.php:102) in /home/gwlj/public_html/b2evolution/admin/b2template.php on line 41

How do I fix it? It still won't let me save after I modified it.

this error has been explained hundreds and hundreds of times before... we have a real nice search-function in this forum...

delete every whitespace and blank line after the closing ?> in the _conf.php and promise to use "search" next time

I fixed it again. I think its all back to normal.

Yes, I should have search this forum at first place. Thank you for patience with me :)

Your baseurl (DISIDENTS R0X GREETZ DECODE, VUUR, DANI , SUNEVIL, POLA DE A, NO BODY, DUDU, AOL, B-04, SPARK, ESTHELA, ALL FRIENDS) set in _config.php seems invalid. You probably missed the "http://" prefix. Please correct that.

Gee...I get it again today.

I think it is a bug or what? Please advise!!

What is your _config.php chmodded as? I'll put money on it being writable by everyone. Chmod it as 644 and I suspect your problems will be solved.

I am looking at my config/_config.php file and it does have the right url http:// and all.
1. Do I need quotes around it should they be " or '? They are ' right now. I haven't messed with it that's how it came.
2. If that's not the problem what else could be the problem. The _advanced file says the url is wrong.
3. The error message I get if I try to validate the feed is 403 prohibited. I haven't locked anything, how do I unlock it somewhere?

Need a link to look at or the EXACT error messages.

The feed works "fine" actually, apart from the fact that you have whitepsace in /conf/_advanced.php at the end again probably.

I guess someone edits your /conf/ files (because of the changing $baseurl). Either from another user on the same server, but more probably through the /install/ folder!
