failed skin won't go away

I attempted to use the "clean" skin and it didn't display correctly giving me this message:

Warning: main(/var/www/html/b2/skins/clean/_main.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /var/www/html/b2/b2evocore/_blog_main.php on line 266

Fatal error: main(): Failed opening required '/var/www/html/b2/skins/clean/_main.php' (include_path='.:/php/includes:/usr/share/php') in /var/www/html/b2/b2evocore/_blog_main.php on line 266

I successfully changed the option back to "custom" and all pages/blogs returned to the fold except the link page which still presents the error message no matter what I do to the options setting. I do not know enough to know where to look for the error as the error is with "custom" not returning but the message just references an error with "clean".
When I uploaded "clean" I followed the order that was in the original file so I don't think I screwed the file up.
Sorry I could not find the answer on my own.

Thank you. I had failed to put .php on my files when I uploaded. However, doing that gave me a bigger mess.

I simply want the 'custom' link blog back but I can't seem to get it to stop referring to the 'clean' one.
I shall set about trying to make it happen anyway. I suspect it's that stub file deal I haven't dealt with learning yet.

I just deleted the 'clean' file.
I'm back to normal with 'custom'
I'll study up a bit befoe i attempt another skin upload.

Put .php on the files? You are using Winzip or something similar, right? Not the godawful integrated windows one? If you're using winzip, select the files, click on extract, upload, enjoy! And this error has nothing to do with stub files, it's just that certain files aren't being uploaded.
