My blog has steadily become quite popular, to the key that I've had to add an additional 20gb to my bandwidth each month. But my site isn't very image heavy and my daily blog records don't show a huge number of visitors: about 500 a day in total.

On the other hand, I'm being assaulted by referral spam, to the tune of 300-500 referrals a day (on their own). Could this cause a sizable growth in my bandwidth usage? It shouldn't, but I'm not sure about this and would like some clarification.

On the spam topic, two suggestions:

1. Please allow us to ban domains

2. Allow us to ban sites that refer to specific pages onthe site. For instance, the Stats.php file is a favourite referral for spam.
