Does b2evo support any easy way of adding/editing/deleting external links?

Ie, If I wanted to link to some news sites, my friends blogs, and b2evo in my sidebar without hardcoding it all into my template.

That's what a linkblog does. Post the title and URL in your linkblog and it shows up in your sidebar.
