I use 0.9.0.11 version. I ever experienced this problem, since the first time I use b2, and went through several Fx (it's the "offical acronym") versions. And also with Fx 1.5beta, installed just yesterday.
Lucky you ;) It's quite annoying to get tabs duplicated whenever you want to check out what you made.

Hmm, I use .11 as well (I have to many hacks to change until pheonix is released), and I've never had that problem.
Any chance you could create me a bogus user so I can "see" your back office (lol, that sounds like a 70's porn film :S )

papzadsl, it might be an Firefox extension that's causing it. Could you please test it with your normal firefox setup at http://demo.b2evolution.net (specially for "Phoenix") and if that gives the same problem, give me some feedback, if it also happens with a vanilla Firefox (without any extensions).
It may also have been a bug/issue with 0.9.11 only. So, please test it also with 0.9.1 at the demo site.
Thank you.

Hi blue,
I solved this problem more than one month ago; I just reinstalled my firefox and it went good. Ah, so I've just tried a demo with the site you told me, and it goes ok. It was my problem.
Btw, if you allow me to write a little OT, if the "demo" version I tried is the famous Phoenix, it still has the same ugly problem: when you insert a tag (like "ins" or "del") by pressing on the button, the screen in the text area goes rapidly to the first line. It is a great flaw to me :°
Have you planned to solve this issue in the next versions?

Thanks for pointing it out.. I've just found a fix for it.. yay! :)
I've committed it to CVS and you should see it fixed at the demo. Please take a look. Thank you.

Fuck...you really solved this issue in a while! You're a wizard :)
It's annoying me from a couple of months :°
Just because you're so damn clever, I point out another issue that is still there: if you highlight a text and press a button to apply the effect to the text, it goes up to the first line, exactly as it did before you fixed it. But JUST if you apply some effects to an underlined text.
Could you "magically" solve this issue also? :P
Really THANK you!

It was stupid of me to not apply the fix to the selected part.
Looking at it I've found even a real javascript error and fixed this one, too.
Please take a look.

When I said "you're a wizard", I wasn't joking :) It goes fuckin' well!
Is there a way to get these fixes on my own b2 0.9.1 version right now, or do I have to wait the Phoenix release?
Anyway, thank you for ur kindness, quickness and cleverness!
Francesco

Thanks, especially for testing.. :)
I've backported it to 0.9.1, you can grab a copy here: http://codeprobe.de/pub/b2evo/_quicktags.toolbar_revision_1.6.2.8_.phps
Rename it to _quicktags.toolbar.php and copy it into /blogs/plugins/toolbars/.

Uhm, what I get when I try to go in my backoffice, instead of the buttons and the text form, is
Please, do not access this page directly.
Fatal error: Call to a member function on a non-object in /web/htdocs/www.silenzi.com/home/b2evocore/_class_toolbars.php on line 46
I swapped my quicktags with yours, that's all I did. Help? :) If you want (and if you have pastime) chat quicker, if you use skype u can contact me: user papz-adsl. Otherwise, I'll wait for your answers right here.

Stupid of me again. The uploaded file got parsed and all you've replaced your quciktags toolbar with was the text "Please do not access this page directly".. :D
I've changed the link above. Please rightclick and "Save as..".

Eheh -- genius. I can't find another word to define you 8|
Really thanks: you, as yabba before, will have a free beer whenever you'll come to Italy ;)
If I can help somehow the project, just ask. I'm not a coder or whatever, but I am willing :D
Thank you again, blueyed!

very welcome.
Thanks for the beer.. :p
And thanks for testing and pointing it out.
What version of b2evolution are you using? I ask because I use FF pretty much exclusively and I haven't (yet) run into this problem.
