DoS attacks on b2 based Blog.

I’m running b2. Well, I’m trying to run it. Had b2 running fine for six months then bang, it started taking down the whole web site. The event viewer points toward our b2 dir as the problem. Looking at the web log we have a number of IP that seem to rapidly call the Index.php file. Not sure but it looks like some new type of DoS attack.

Here’s what we get from our event viewer.

Description:
The script started from the URL '/b2/b2evolution/blogs/index.php' with parameters 'blog=2' has not responded within the configured timeout period. The HTTP server is terminating the script.

The configured timeout period is the one we have always used.

Anyone have a theory as to what’s going on?

not without the ips, no, and not without knowing whether or not that page exists, and not without seeing whats on the page for myself (is it really loading properly, etc..). merely calling a page in succession isnt a dos attack.
