Easier way to delete multiple comments at once

The problem we still have is spammers that get on to our site and leave multiple comments.

What we would like is a plugin or hack that allows us (admins) to remove multiple comments at once.

An Example Idea would be:
In the admin panel under edit it will show the comments with a check box next to them.
We will then select the check boxes we want to delete then click the delete button.

If a bunch of comments all have the same spam url in them, then you can remove them all at once from the antispam tab. That said, what you described would be a nice feature.

I think this is a good idea as well.. I've tried to integrate it into b2evolution using the predefined delete method, but I cant see to make it work. I'm working on a direct mysql database list and delete right now to *hopefully* make multi post/comment delete possible.

If someone else has allready done this, please share so that I can get rid of my current headache! :-/
