not able to comment

I've been looking all over the forum and I can't find anything about not being able to comment. I can see the comments if I click on the Last comments link, but I can't leave a comment if I click on the leave a comment link below the post.

Maybe this is something I'm doing wrong? I've tried 3 different versions of the blog software and it still won't work. I'm currently using Paris.
I've tried Phoenix and Dawn.

Hi StellaMarie,

You appear to have extrapath info enabled. If you go into admin > settings right at the bottom you'll see a box marked "use extra path info", untick it and press save.

Plus stick with the dawn version. No sense in using old stuff, especially if the fancy-path option is the root of your current evil. No matter what is causing the problem, you'll want to be using the dawn version when the issue is resolved for you.
