Yes, RSS 2, the one you linked to.

My b2evolution Version: Not Entered
Help me out. I am feeling rather stupid right now. I am trying to display a feed on a web page. I am using Feed2JS to create the javascript to display the page. And it is not working.
From the blog I can see the feed. The feed validates. But it will not display. The error I get is as follows:
Error: Feed failed! Causes may be (1) No data found for RSS feed http://ccgworld.com/mcfatter/blogs/blogs/index.php?tempskin=_rss2; (2) There are no items are available for this feed; (3) The RSS feed does not validate.
Please verify that the URL http://ccgworld.com/mcfatter/blogs/blogs/index.php?tempskin=_rss2 works first in your browser and that the feed passes a validator test.
Any assistance is appreciated in advance.

Have you tried the Atom feed instead?
To my knowledge the RSS feed validates, so I guess this is a quirk from the script. Have you checked their site?
Good luck

Yes, I tried the Atom feed. It was a no go too.

There seems to be a problem with the script. I checked out a couple mirror sites that host Feed2JS and they all say the same problem with their own feed.
If you can do a little PHP programming, I've used lastRSS on my site (you can get to the code from there): http://blog.zimorama.com/
Here are some other services like Feed2JS that you might find useful:
http://feedjumbler.com is one of my favorites- can do a lot of things. I've tested your feed and it works fine.
http://www.tickermyfeed.com/ does what it claims, but doesn't look all that professional
http://www.rssmix.com/news-wizard/ is customizable (especially with style) and looks great

I am thinking the problem is with the blog script. Currently, Feed2js is properly parsing xml from several other applications that I have installed. I also correctly parsed xlm from several b2evolution blogs that I have long since abandoned.(v1.x.x). I think I am going to try a lower version and see if that works.

Have a look at one of the validators from: http://directory.google.com/Top/Computers/Internet/On_the_Web/Syndication_and_Feeds/RSS/Validators/
Good luck

Actually I agree with OP that the line breaks are being eaten. Compare the feed with the actual site, the para breaks are lost.
My site is suffering from this as well. All feeds *except* rss2 are good. RSS2 seems to want to run all the paragraphs together though.

I have merged these two topics. just because I never did before.
The question, I think, is if the RSS feeds validate or not and if we can and or should change them to meet particular needs.

My rss2 feed "validates", yes. But how come all the line breaks and images are missing from it? All other b2 feeds are better. (and I have many non-b2 rss2 feeds that are formatted right)
I mean it's like a huge reverse step from rss .9 to 2. Doesn't seem sensible.

I've been looking around but I can't find a way to display an RSS news feed as a post. Is it possible and if so How?
Thanks

Can anyone tell me where on my server the feed is located? If I knew that perhaps I might have a clue as to the problem and a possible solution.

The feed (actual feeds) is just a skin. That makes it extremely easy to fit to your needs. You find them in the skins folder.
Good luck

This would be a nice feature indeed. Not possible at the moment.
The best you can do is have an RSS aggregator gather your RSS feeds, and then put that on the side of your skin/page. FeedBurner has some functionality like this.
Doing an automatic post creation would get very complicated because you would have to pass the b2evo username/password so a post could be created. It won't be pretty.

I have merged yet another topic into this one. This means the order (who reply the whom) is somewhat unclear. Yet I think every one benefits from cooperation. Please describe what you expect from the RSS feed. When time permits I will spend some of of my precious spare moments on this topic.
I just previewed that feed in Bloglines and it looks great to me. All the line breaks are where they're supposed to be. I can give you a screen shot if you like. Or you can just sign up with bloglines (it's free) and see for yourself.
