OK - I've searched in vain.
I have a number of users who want to blog a "Timeline" of Literary characters lives ( http://www.outlet.org.uk )
What I can do is create a category for each year and that's great cos these get listed in order in the skin. However the timeline postings will be listed in the order that the postings are entered (or I know how to reverse them)
Is it possible to have the blog entries displayed by category rather than creation date

the list of dates down the side are catgories. They were not entered in that order but are arranged alphabetically ie - entering an extra year/category would move to the right place. - great
The postings are shown in the order I wrote them which was purposely out of order. I could re-order them by hand by changing the date stamp but what I want to do is have them display in the order of category.
