V 6.4.3: Rendering of smileys in messages don't work

Hi,
if I'm using Smileys from the smiley bar in the messages editor, it will not be rendered. I see only the chars like :D

Edit:
I have change the settings of "Messages > Settings" but no changing. I see the char anymore.

@ednong what rendering option did you configure at "Messages > Settings > Renderer plugins settings > Apply Smilies:"?

I made a quick test setting it to "Always", and it worked as expected.

my setting is "Opt out" so there is a checked check box for smilies.
