Hello

when calling an RSS Url of a blog I get a page without content:
http://www.npo-consulting.net/blogs/notepad.php?tempskin=_rss2&redir=no

thats only the case in that blog. The rss of another blog of the same b2e installation works fine
http://www.npo-consulting.net/blogs/pad.php?tempskin=_rss2&redir=no

I cannot figure out how to get that RSS working.
Could anyone help me to solve this?

Thanks, Will

Working with 6.7.5.

Are the posts in the collection public?

Are the RSS feeds enabled for this collection?

Posts in the collection are public
RSS feeds are enabled (standard, stopping at teaserbreak) for both posts and comments

these rss2 and atom links to comments work for that blog:
http://www.npo-consulting.net/blogs/notepad.php?tempskin=_atom&disp=comments
http://www.npo-consulting.net/blogs/notepad.php?tempskin=_rss2&disp=comments

but not for posts

Today I upgraded to 6.7.7. The upgrade was managed properly without any errors
but the RSS for posts does not work anyway

I set RSS from "Standard Eintrags-Inhalte (stoppen bei "[teaserbreak]

")" to "Auszüge eintragen"
This way RSS also works for posts

So in case we cannot find the bug that caused the malfunction, I can live with "Auszüge eintragen" ;-)

OK, so is this the case for all of your blogs:

  • if excerpts are selected the feed works
  • if "stop by teaserbreak" is selected, the feed is empty

?

Thanks.

This happens only by using RSS in this certain blog. All other blogs of the same b2evolution installation work also with "stop by teaserbreak".
I tickered around to find out why; but after three hours I decided to choose the running rss excerpts and live with it.

b2evolution is so a great CMS. Set into relation to what b2e performs I won' t give this rss problem notice. May be the solution will come accidentally ;-)

Thanks for your kind attention and support

If it's only with this blog then there is probably one post that creates a bug. You may isolate the post that doesn't work by switching your recent posts to draft one by one until the RSS feed works again. Then if you can tell us what content creates the bug, we can replicate it and fix it.
