My 6.9.5 is by percentage ?? Seems to have changed since then you find.
In 6.8.8 it was by date: See http://forums.b2evolution.net/6-8-8-search-results-in-percentage-order
From the above it looks like there was some intention to have a choice.

Are you sure ?? The search results on this site are by % although sometimes it seems chronological

Thanks Francois. I looked under 'search order' and found nothing but under 'search results' , lo and behold! there was info on the setting. There's just so many updates that it's becoming increasingly difficult to find all the knobs and tweaks. :)

Now all I have to do is find where it is in the back office. :(

So I added a comment to say where it is located, but then noticed the breadcrumb links. Is it that the breadcrumb links generally show the location of the object being described?

Fixed. Thanks Francois. I knew it had to be an easy fix. I just couldn't find were this setting was.

Ah! under Features > Other displays :)

The manual is organized to follow the structure of the backoffice. You just need to look at the section it is in the Mnaul to know in which section of the backoffice it is.

Thanks for reporting the failed search keyphrase. I fixed it. It's the first result in te manual now if you search "search order".
