My b2evolution Version: 2.x

OK, I see the locked message The best thing to do is to recycle those blogs.
Do not delete then recreate.
Instead: just rename them to what you want.

HOW??? The instructions given to go to Blog Settings, then Blog, then the General Tab, and uncheck visibility don't exist in my dashboard. I have General Parameters, Content/Posts, and Description as headings in the General Tab of Blog B when I'm on the Blog Settings. How do I disable or recycle the sample blogs, Blog B, Linkblog, and Photoblog?

Thanks, Mamaglee

Try "Blog settings" then pick a blog. From there you will have control over what happens with that particular blog, and any posts in it. For example you could choose to not show a blog by unchecking the box for "include in public blog list" on the "Features" sub-tab. Or you could make a post in any of the sample blogs be deprecated by going to the "Posts / Comments" sub-tab and selecting "Full Posts" for the sub-sub-tab then clicking the "Deprecate" button for whichever post you want to get rid of but not delete.

Or even mark it "Protected" by editing the post and changing the "visibility" (available in expert mode) to 'protected'.

Kinda confusing but it's all very cool after you get the hang of it.
