I was kinda tickled to see my blog come up on the "User Blogs" list, but my locale flag is nothing but a question mark. Don't y'all have a Swiss flag? Here's one: http://moonchild.ch/blog/img/flags/h10px/ch.gif

That's not gonna do it. The flag on the recently updated page depends on your blog's locale and does not use someone else's flag image no matter what the size. So for the recently updated section to use the proper flag requires b2evolution to have a translation of your language with 2 different images of your flag. A 10 pixel tall version, and a 16 pixel wide version, but you also need the recognition of your nation by b2evolution. Don't worry - I'm sure they know Switzerland exists :)

At a minimum your translation will include 2 flags and your nation's preference for date format, time format, and start of week day. Assuming you're doing it in English (and I found no language code for Switzerland) you'll be creating en-CH where CH is the official country code for Switzerland. You then snag the flag and resize it to the two sizes needed and (somehow) get it into the database. One of the dev team members will be able to help you with that.

http://manual.b2evolution.net/Localization talks about doing the translation thing, and http://manual.b2evolution.net/Create_my_own_flag/locale is all about creating your own locale. That link contains links to the country codes, language codes, and groovy flag images, and happens to be what you would need to bring to a dev team player to get Switzerland recognized by b2evolution.

Hm! Iceland's flag on my App settings >> regional tab is the ? flag.

The problem with Switzerland is that there are FOUR official languages here (and English isn't one of them!). I created five pairs of flags for Switzerland (CH, en-CH, de-CH, fr-CH and it-CH), and I'm just waiting to hear back about what to do with them. I think a Swiss flag is necessary, since Switzerland is not EU and so can't use that flag.

Anyone who does really clean GIF optimzed flags for their country, please send them to me.

CLEAN means:
- as little colors as necessary in the GIF file
- respect of the original flag ratio
- a 10px high version
- another 16px wide version (in some occasions it will be the same)
- small file sizes

I will at least include the flags.

You may send me the locales too.
