6.8.8 - Search results in percentage order not by date

Hello,

I just upgraded from a 5-version to 6.8.8. When I use the search widget on my blog, I get results in % order from 100% on. I used to get these results in post date order from latest to oldest, which is the way I prefer. Is there a way to modify this to get that old functionality back? The % order doesn't work well for the type of blog I have established.

Also - is there a way to eliminate comments in the search results and have only posts return in the search?

I am sorry to say that for now, this is not possible BUT we will definitely add params for configuring the search results shortly.

I have marked this as a feature request and adde dit to our todo list.
