Hi there,
I'd like to set up a collection which aggregates posts from various blogs in various categories into a single Collection for the purposes of providing an RSS feed for that Collection. It seems from the documentation that this ought to be possible, but I can't figure out how to do it in the admin interface. Can anyone help? For example, I'd like a Collection that brings in:
All posts from "Blog 1" with category "Announcement"
All posts from "Blog 2" with category "Announcement"
Can this be done?
The situation is that we have individual blogs for different projects, but all the projects occasionally want to make a post which is an announcement. Every blog has an "Announcement" category (obviously these are "different" categories under the hood, but they have the same name). We'd like to provide an RSS feed for all these posts, but not including any of the non-Announcement posts from the source blogs.
All help appreciated,
Martin
Just reading the docs.
So far the ideas I have come up with are
https://b2evolution.net/man/move-a-category
a) create a new collection and move all the announcement categories there and use a link on the original collection. to post updates.
https://b2evolution.net/man/collections-cross-posting-settings
b) This seems better. Make a new collection and cross post all the announcement categories to it, then rss the new collection
