4.1.6 ver. - I will be upgrading to 5.0.5 soon, but have a question before I make changes. I know that posts can be deprecated within a blog, and an old blog can be removed from the public menu, but can an entire blog be depreciated? Meaning, I have several old blogs that I can view from the backend, and they are cluttering up the menu with a long list -- how can they be removed? Or, would it be better to purge/remove those blogs entirely? Best methods?

Thank you.

It's probably better to purge them entirely if you don't need them any more.

In v 5,1 though you will be able to hide blogs from the backoffice menu.

Thanks for getting back with me. What would be the best method to purge them?

Let's say blogs 3 and 5 are old, they are purged. Can those blog numbers get used/reassigned again with a new blogger?

In blogs > all there is an icon to delete a blog.

You can't reuse the ID once the blog is deleted unless you do some heavy tweaking of the database, which I strongly advise you should NOT do.

hi, just installed v_5.0.0. Whatever happened to the option in the blog's features tab in the "List of public blogs"?

Include in public blog list: [check box] Check this if you want this blog to be advertised in the list of all public blogs on this system

I want to keep three of the new blogs for later use, I don't want to delete them, just don't list them.

Is there a way to do this in this b2evo version? Like, what/which file/s could I modify if there is no longer such an option?

TXs!
