Please enlighten me on how to implement the following.

I want to display the first image of the post at the main blog list.

Details:
1. I have 24 posts in BLOG A. all of the posts have images in it.
2. If the user will go to the BLOG A itself, it will display the individual titles and individual teasers, then there should be a thumbnail of the first image of the individual post next to the title of the posts <h2 tag>.
