Version 5.0.9
As of this morning approx 00:00 GMT I have a layout problem in the back office. Normally when viewing the Contents tab the ratio between the column to the left with posts etc. and the column with filter options is 4:1 (80% / 20%

However now the ratio depends upon which option I chose under the Contents tab:

All 2:1 (66.6% 33.3%)

Posts and Pages 1:1 50% / 50% (now I have a horizontal scroll bar to cope with the width)

Intros, Podcasts, Sidebar links and Advertisements 1:5 (16.6% / 83.3%)

Comments 4:1 (80% / 20%) (back to normal)

Content Settings only has one column anyway and is fine

Any help as where to find the problem appreciated

Hello @amoun,

That usually happends when you have a too long entry in one of the blocks at the right sidebar (a long category name maybe?). Actually, the behavior that you described is consistent with a too long category name. However, it's weird because that name must be extremelly long to doesn't fit and enlarge the sidebar.

Did you make any content modification recently? New post, author, category, etc?

hi thanks.

It's not a category name or anything like that

but adding to the story.

a) my browser does not cache or store pages, only cookies and passwords
b) last night I went to a friends house and used his MS Windows IE and it was fine
c) today at home, using Firefox the problem has changed, now, apart from the comments tab showing in normal width approx 75/ 25 of all the others are identical at approx 66 / 33

It's the same across two distinct domains. I'm beginning to think my browser is picking up on some oddity, but the browser hasn't been updated for years as my Ubuntu 8.10 won't allow beyond Fx 16 and my little Asus 900 isn't up to a more demanding OS

Nope it's not Firefox I've just checked using Opera 11.6 and it's the same. Maybe some common library element they both use and my Ubuntu is cracking up
