Hello @danny_c,

You're getting that message because your b2evo is not able to send the confirmation email. There are not too much things to do if you have recently installed b2evo and you haven't still modify its standard configuration.

In this case, you should check if your hosting account is able to send emails. Please, read my suggestions on this post: http://forums.b2evolution.net/casse-tete-des-temps-modernes, and come back to us with the results.

Regards !

Hi @danny_c,

Well, then the server configuration issue is discard. As is also suggested in that post, please enable the debugging mode and share its output in order to continue making the diagnosis.

Thanks.

Bonjour,

Can you tell me that it is to do with debugging. I do not understand English, sorry, I "use google translation.

Cordially

Well, the debugging mode shows more information about the process performed by b2evo when loads any page. That information also would be useful to detect issues like this you're reporting here. After enabling the debugging mode, you should try to perform any action that sends an email and catch the output at the bottom of the page.

I successfully translated the manual page above to french using the translator built-in Google Chrome, however I also attached a screenshot in the case you are not able to do it.

Regards!

Hello @danny_c,

Is so sad to know that, maybe if you had been a little more patient considering the holidays, responses here could be slower than usual.

The debugging mode is not a solution itself, it's just a way to try to diagnose your blog in order to find out the solution to some particular issues. You didn't share the URL of your blog either in order to let us try to detect the problem and give you more help.

The error you pasted in your prior message was generated for some misplaced instruction on the code that you added trying to activate the debug mode.

Hope to see again.

Regards!
