Hi,
I've upgaded B2E to 5.2.2 and upgraded MySQL.
PHP 5.4.39
mysql Ver 14.14 Distrib 5.5.27
Now, I have 3 problems.
1. I get the following error when I log in, and does not show any other text.
Fatal error: Class 'Menu' not found in /public_html/blog/skins/_toolbar.inc.php on line 51
2. The only way I can get access to the admin dashboard, is to reinstall the upgrade using /blog/install
3. All the blog entries include Japanese and I get garbage ??? characters.

Hi @stakano,
1 & 2) Did you upload all the files of the new version properly? I mean, in version 5.2.2, that class loading instruction is in line 54 instead of 51, so maybe you're not using the latest version and there is the whole problem. Try to FTP them again to see if it solves the issue.
3) It's almost sure that your database is not encoded as UTF8. There is a tool in the back-office that performs an upgrade. You can find more information here: http://b2evolution.net/man/upgrade-database-to-utf8. Also, your language package should be encoded as UTF8.
