Yes, this widget does the thing I search - in a part.

The list of similar links is what I want - but at the bottom of the article/post of the single view of a post. This widget is for the sidebar (or another container) not for the post itself. So it is not what I'm searching - I'm looking for a plugin/widget which creates a list of similar links at the end of an article/post (in the single view).

Similar issue here. The Simple RelatedPost List makes no sense in the sidebar of the main page (as there is no post to be related to, the widget just repeat what is already listed)..

You can actually build a container in the place where you want it in your skin... or call teh widget directly in the place you want it in the skin...

... or you can wait for v6.7 or 6.8 (not sure at this point) which will have that container you need at the bottom of a post, already built-in.

If more people want this, it'll be more 6.7 than 6.8 ;)

Sounds useful to me

In 6.6.3, Pyrmont skin, there's a post bottom container, which I tryed to use some free html (for CC licensing), but I gave up because it would show the html also in collections post list, and not only after a post.
Anyway, I have no problem with waiting for the upgrades plenty of features. :p
