My b2evolution Version: 3.3.3

I put a small javascript into an HTML box in the sidebar to pull up recent posts from the vBulletin forum. It works, but without any real changes on my part it seems to get corrupted when I edit and resave it. When I copy a fresh version into the widget editor it works again.

How can I stop this from happening? Seems to be related to escaping slashes, double hashes and brackets.
