I'll be honest I probably wont be using B2Evolution for my blog. There are other compounding reasons, the main one being that long-term I need it to be in the cloud, and not hosted on my website.
It's a great bit of software and if I needed a forum and/or a manual I would definitely be sticking with it, but I don't I only need a blog and I need it for images and links and so on. The fiddling around has been a problem. Maybe version 7 addresses all that.
thanks for your time and help to this point but no, I wont need further help.
one bit of feedback though. The support search site really REALLY needs to be able to be sorted by recent date. It is ridiculously difficult to find info, and I end up out on google searching back across the site that way. It is off-putting tbh. If you want new users, you want to sort that out pronto.
all the best

I have some experience of that :) but apart from finding the right search words for the manual (docs) the topics are not often titled to best effect and gems of info are hidden amongst posts.
Not sure what you mean 'in the cloud'
https://www.bing.com/search?q=b2evolution+in+the+cloud
do you mean on some goggle free space or something ???
Otherwise bye, nice meeting you. :)

yup. wordpress.com or blogger.com, but prob wordpress, only because it suits my current project requirements criteria. I just earmarked some time to check out the latest offerings out there to see what was new. I really like the potential of B2Evolution, it's great, but not for this project.
see ya round :)
Hi
[image:***]I don't use wysiwyg and most of my images are old style img tags, with a few
I don't use thumbnails.
I have a plugin update that allows me to make a div that floats left or right. And then another to clear the div.
I then enter a size manualy to the divs.
Not the simplest but I get by.
Again as far as hyperlinks go I use a plugin. The idea is to surround and text and then type in the url and in my case target.
Are you OK to modify a plugin. I can send you the two I have and you can take what you want from them and make somehting that suits you, but this is all source code stuff.
I'm surprised the wysiwyg doesn't account for such needs
