I was wondering why the Facebook like button and social buttons are not appearing in spite of the Plugin/Widget being enabled.
There are no special parameters to be filled in (as far as I can see) but nothing appears on my blog.
Any further advice, please?

I tested and it works as expected. Are you sure that you're adding the widget to the right container (Sidebar)?
