Invalid password change request! Remember you must use the same session (by means of your session cookie) as when you have requested the action. Please try again...
Is it that I am working too fast ???

@ingeniero
Hi
First I'm wondering how you installed, was it via an option on your host or did you manually ftp the files and then do an 'install' procedure?
I install a clean B2Evo new 6.10.2-stable everything runs smooth, get admin pw and it makes new user
I'm not sure why you have to email to activate as you are the admin
I click Email to activate new user, login new user
So you deleted b2evo but your last message "Invalid password change request! " is from which, a new install or the original one?
You may want to change the name of this post to Massive problem on new install as it's unlikely to be a bug as others have installed without such issues.

it only occures if you allow the installer to create a user - than you have no admin access anymore
by the second time I did create my users manually and it works
Seems others did not create users at install - just remove that feature and all is fine!

@ingeniero The b2evolution installer always creates an admin user and it can create demo users in addition. There is no option to "create a user" as you say.
So you must have used another installer, not ours. Which installer did you use? Fantastico? Softaculous? Simple Scripts? Something else?

As Francois said, as the default download doesn't automatically offer he option to create a user, my thought is that maybe you didn't download the version from this site? If that was the case it may have been tampered with.

looks like I experience the same problem, gave a bit more info about it
http://forums.b2evolution.net/6-10-2-can-t-create-new-collection
maybe it is important that I first logged in at once,
before I got the confirmation that the user is now active!
