Navigation menu disappeared?

Made a bunch of changes yesterday to areas like the forum and photo gallery etc. Did not notice until this morning that the menu has disappeared from all pages?
There is now no way to navigate through the site, I didn't think I had made any changes regarding the menu, but maybe I did. I spent the last few hours trying to backtrack, but I can't seem to find what I did, nor does a search in this forum lead me to an answer.

Hi @imagewatchdog

You don't specify if those changes were made from back-office or directly in the code. Maybe you need to find if the container that shows the menu is still there (menu_container.png). Maybe enabling debug mode and displaying containers would help you (show_containers.png).

Sorry for not being more clear. I was making changes in the back office, not code.
The menu missing, is the one on top of the page, which doesn't show in the containers?

OK, I found the problem, when I was uploading a logo for the site, i must have somehow unchecked the box for sitewide header and footer, on the SITE/SITE SETTINGS page.
