I attempted to try to use the auto upgrade from 5.2.0 to 5.2.1. It gave me an error (I failed to copy/paste the error, sorry) while installing and it did put my site into maintenance mode. I ran out of time so I left it at that and then recently went back to it to try to solve the issue.

I attempted to upgrade via ftp using the upgrade files. Now I don't know how to exit the maintenance mode to see if the upgrade worked.

Any help?

site is www.savethelegs.com

Thanks in advance.

just FTP or upload your newest version blogs folder onto (overwrite) older version blogs folders ... I do not meant put blogs inside blogs folder

We cannot stress this enough: ALL FILES!

It means you must OVERWRITE all the old files that have a new file equivalent. And that means you can’t reuse your old customized files.

Step 5. Run the installation/upgrade scrip

It is located in :

http://yoursite.com/yourblogsfolder/install/index.php.

It is the same script for installation and upgrade. It will offer you to upgrade if it detects an existing b2evolution database.

Then, simply follow the on screen instructions.

Step 6. Check the installation

If it doesn’t work, check if there are specific upgrade instructions for your specific version.

Step 7. Delete the /install subfolder

Deleting the /install is important for best security and will prevent others from overwriting your settings.
