Is this the right one to protect the website whether it's under construction or better security

I am sure that is different from password protect directories feature, correct ?

I reread several more times somewhere ... it mentioned about "htpasswd" and "add $login_required to your config file"

it is like telling me one for htaccess similarity and other is PHP coding inside B2E, correct ?

.htaccess and .htpasswd is a feature of Apache. It will refuse to even execute b2evolution before you enter a password.

b2evolution has a completely different private collection feature which can display a title, background and a nice login/register box.
