If b2evo is resizing the image then it cannot preserve the animation. This is normal.

The only current workaround is to manually enter an <img src="..."> tag into your post.

In b2evo 6.7, you will be able to use [inline:...] with the file ID in order not to have responsive bahviour.

OK,, we're currently on 6.6.8 and using the [image:] tags.. hopefully the inline tag allows for this as well as selecting a thumbnail size as previously mentioned..
