Slow posting (hang)

My blog started posting real slow (after i click publish it takes 15-20 seconds to post).
I have recently updated php from 5.3.18 to 5.3.19, dont know if that might be related, or is it the ping services.
I will upgrade to v5 soon and see if the issue persists

To address slow response from pinging services, you can defer the pings to a scheduled task.

Nah, it's no biggie, just wondered why it started to happen out of the blue.
I didnt do anything for a conclusive result, but it's likely to be something about one of the ping services, since i dont have that delay in saving the post.
