How to change the icons for the instant messaging options?

I added Telegram to the user profile and a boring grey icon / logo appears. - But I would like to have a nice blue one :)

Thank you.

If you use Firefrox [Web developer > Inspector] you will see where resources (images etc) are pulled from.

I don't use social media or telegram etc. so it is not immediately accessible for me to look at.

If you provide a link to your usage I will have a look at the underlying code.

Thanks amoun.
I just saw, that it is no image but a text graphics and the colour is edited by the colour code.

I'll test this later.
Thanks.

I got stuck - or maybe lost.

When using bootstrap_whatsoever-skin. Which file and what line must be edited to change the colour of this "icon"?

If you have found the ID of the text graphics or class etc. you can make your own style.css in the skin directory with the values you want.

If there is already a skin file you should be able to find or add code.

Like I said initially if you provide the URL it would b easier to see what you are looking at. For example using Firefox etc I can modify any website for my own use and in doing so I access the object/text and change it's css values.

Not quite what I meant. I though you may have an issue with a live site I could look at and see the exact issue. To use a demo etc. is not very interesting and I'll have to be a bit bored to got through setting things up to imagine a problem :)

Just replace http://demo2.b2evolution.net/stable with your own domain and path.
and add /evoadm.php?ctrl=userfields
Then you are on a live-site and you can see in your own install the logos used.

And I would not invite you into the backend of my live-install :D

This is entertaining, i don't use any social media on my sites and delete all such plugins before upload.
I have seen a row of grey approx 5 grey icons on some sites towards the top right of the screen are they the objects you refer to?

With Firefox you could right click and explore the object and find any css class or ID and then override it in your own css. Changing values in default files can be overwritten with upgrades etc.

I avoid them as well :D
Attached a snapshot with the grey Telegram "logo".

I "tried" it with Firefox dev-tools. And there I am able to change the Telegram logo colour. But I am not able to find the b2e-file within the installation that I have to edit. :(

As I said don't bother changing the default parameters add you own css values via either a style.css in the skin folder or the /media/blogs/ ***

or add a direct line to the _html.header via the back office, which will store your choice in the database.
Select Collection > Settings > Advanced > Skin and style > add code to [Custom meta tag/css section (before </head>)]
