Hello
I am going to make tiny bloghosting for a big group of people. So the number of bloggers will be 1000+ and even more. The question is will the engine be able to work with such a big number of users?
What is the number of mySQL requests per "common" page?

Thank you!

Hi,

i'm also rather new to B2e but generally speaking the performance of an application always depends on the hardware you're using.

For a bloghosting service also the number of posts per day are a great factor.

The number of queries per page should also depend from the plugins you're using and the stuff you integrated in the templates.

Maybe you will get an exact answer from the experts with more information. 10000 users are nothing with 10 of them beeing active and writing 2 posts a day. But with 500 of them writing 5 posts a day each it will be much different.

best,
Frank

Search for the keyword "performance" there is a topic there that should shed some light.

And i swear that i've already posted a reply to this topic a while ago...
