b2evo can use .htaccess Balupton.
You can find the sample.htaccess in the rootfolder.
IF, and only IF your host can use htaccess, you have to upload that file, and on the server remane it to .htaccess
So if you are not knowing what you are doing, ask at somebody in your entourage to guide you with this

Could be because b2evo doesn't use .htaccess files.
b2evo can use .htaccess Balupton.
Just because it can, doesn't mean it does ;)

The only .htaccess b2evolution ships with is "sample.htaccess" in the root directory. The idea is that you change the name to .htaccess and see if it works for you. Sometimes it doesn't, but no problem because b2evolution can and will run without an .htaccess file. Also many times features provided by the host will overwrite the .htaccess file so ... b2evolution plays it safe and says "here's one you might want to use".

ok thanks for the post.
I think the host must have deleted it because there isn't a file called .htsccess or simple.htaccess
Could be because b2evo doesn't use .htaccess files.
Why are looking for one?
