Technorati and pings

On my 1.85 site, Technorati only gets the pings from my default site.

On my test 1.91 site (different installation, obviously), Technorati doesn't seem to catch any pings whether it's my default or not. When I post, it goes through the ping routine successfully.

Have you setup a ping plugin for TEchnorati and is it checked in the blog's advanced settings?

Yes. Using the Ping-O-Matic plugin is the best choice, which forwards the ping to 16 services.
Otherwise: install the "Generic Ping plugin", configure it to use technorati, enable it and activate it for the blog(s).
