cannot edit _main.php; not saving

Here's a strange one...

I'm trying to edit the _main.php in the custom skin inline editor in the back office and it's not saving my changes.

I have a php-enabled WINDOWS server.

HELP!

Trying that feature just now it told me "you cannot update that file/template: must make it writeable, e.g. CHMOD 766". I don't know what the equivalent is for a windows box, but once you know that your problem should be solved.
