wow... it seems like some time has gone by, being content with my b2evo blog and all. didn't even realize that stable releases were up to 1.9.x now. so i had been putting off upgrading, because i wasn't ready to go through all that recustomizing of my page just yet. but now it looks like i'm at a point where i'm forced to.

currently, i'm at a loss for where to go, both for upgrading to 1.9.2, securing my blog from future hacks (as inevitable as they may be), and backing up my database (which seems to be intact). it also looks like the <expletive deleted> hacked my guestbook as well... unless it was just coincidentally hacked by someone else around the same time.

could any kind (and insightful) soul point me in the right direction?
