What I'd like to see is blog-specific control over sidebar components. Kinda like how skin switching is currently handled. I can have the code for skin switching in a skin but turn that feature off for any given blog.

Calendar, Archives, Categories, Linkblog, Who's Online. All would be nice to be able to have in every skin (and the plugin installed if appropriate), but be turned off for any given blog by the admin of that blog.
