Could the text:
"Check your database config settings below and update them if necessary."

Be changed to:
"The install did not complete because there is something wrong with your database, please check the config settings and update them if necessary."

Because I look at the settings and then i go, yep everything is in order, install, why arn't you installing!!!! grrrr!!!
