My b2evolution Version: 1.9.1 Beta

I got hit with some spam recently and am wondering how I can delete these messages (about 150). Is there a way, other than going through each one individually, to get rid of these spam posts without deleting posts from my members?

You mean comments? Spammers can't make posts unless they register and you give them permission to post.

What is common between the spam comments? Typically a spammer will leave a link they want your visitors to follow, so all you have to do is add the link (minus the http: part and //www part if it exists, and minus any actual file name) to your local antispam database. Clicking "check and ban" will find all matching posts and comments and referer hits, then offer to you the opportunity to delete them and ban them and report them, so do all three.

So like let's say you're getting spammed by http://www.gambling.porno.com/drugs.html and you want to clean that junk out. You "check and ban" .gambling.porno.com and it'll first clear out the matching crap and never let them spam you again.

Does not work for me as the spammers use different website for each spam. They are also using different IP addresses to post from.

It would be really nice to be able to go delete from this comment to this comment.

What I did was put all entries have to be approved before being published and what I did do last night was close the discussion for those entries that are generating the spam.
